I' ve had the flatline for a while, and it is the greatest thing ever to happen to paintball, however my gun is now pretty long and want a remote to get rid of my gas tank. THe problem is I found two identical remotes i could buy, but one has a "slide check" and the other doesn't. (the one with the slide check is more expensive by a few dollars) Now, can anyone tell me what the heck is a slide check and what is for.?????? :eyes:

a slide check is a slide that turns the air on and off... i woudl suject getting this

i really liek it... easy to take the hose off inbetween games w/out wasting 15 shots of the air in the hose...

get it!

So slide check is just something to turn off the air or what? Isn't that why the on/off valve is there? how does the slidcheck work without wasting air?
And custom, where did you find this remote? need to buy another one for myself

A slidecheck is basically a quick disconnect fitting.

a slide check is on the remote, at the end where it plugs into the gun. when you're in the staging area, and you want to disconnect yourself from your gun. You open the slide check. What it does, is closes the end of the remote, so no gas can escape from the remote hose (which remains presurised), it also has a hole that opens, so the gun gets depresurized.
