does anyone know if it is possible to add porting to a non-ported barrel? Also what tool would you do it with and is there anything else you have to do re-polish the inside of the barrel?
also dont worry its an inexpensive aluminum barell, so i can test it without you worrying.
thanks if you can help...

yes i did this to my stock cocker barrel and its pretty quiet now, i also painted it to look like a boomstick, hehe im a loser. but ok, you will need a drill press, i woulndt bother unless you have acces to one. next you should chose the style of porting, i suggest just 2-4 rows of 6 straight lines going down the barrel. so put some masking tape on it and mark where you want the holes to go..then get the drill bit...i suggest using something smaller, like a 4/32 or maybe a 7/64, then drill a hole larger with another bit, i think i used a 9/64 or maybe a 11/64. i didnt polish the inside or anything, and it worked perfectly. hope this helped.

Just make sure the inside has no burrs where the new holes are. One burr and you're slicing paintballs.

I was brows'n the net one day looking for LP mod articles and came across Pukin Dogs Paintball (http://pukindogspaintball.com/). . .Unlike the name ( ), the tech articles are very good. Theres one on how to port a barrel, but I can't give a direct link because there is none. Just click on "Tech Articles" then "How to port a barrel"

Enjoy :D
