since i have a tourney coming up this weekend i had to get a new tank because my nitro tank got stolen , so since im on a tight budget i ended up ordering a 20oz antisiphon on/off tank from pbgear. On the tank there is a large x where the tube is pointing up. there seems to be a lot of turning space in between the x and where the tank screws all the way in. i was just wondering if it will work because there is so much space in between, will it work correctly where i can have the x facing upward so i don't get liquid into my beautiful impy?

to sum it up, if anyone has ordered one of these tanks from pbgear (Action village) tell me if it works

I have a 20oz Ani-Siphon tank from PBgear but i have the same problebut it seems to work but i am still worried. my x is about 3/4 of the way down, I think you should e-mail PBgear and ask about it, or you could put an
o-ring in that works for me. (if you do e-mail them tell me what they said :P )

OK-- heres the problem. to CORRECTLY set up an anti syphon tank, you need to have the gun its going to go on to. This way the tech can screw the valve in to your gun, and set the tube so it is "up" when screwed all the way in. Unfouratnly PBGear dosn't do that. they simply put in the tube where ever and make where it is. This means to use the tank, you have to mount it on the gun so the "X" is at the top. Unforutanly on your tank that wount be when the tank is screwed all the way in.
My first suggestion would be to take the tank to a pro shop and have it set up correctly for your gun.
Realizing that this may not be possibe before your turny, try this little trick. Put an O-ring in the ASA BEFORE you screw in the tank. now when you screw in the tank, it won't go all the way in. This may allow you to get the tank "tight" and still have the "X" up

the o-ring trick sounds like a good temporary solution for this weekend but eventually i think i will get a tech to put it on the right way, thanks for the help guys
