I was just reading the july edition of the Crossfire Magazine and I noticed a section on having stricter rules for paintballs players. Exp. If a paintball player were to be caught with drugs, or too much alcohol, or even wiping which is cheating he or she should be on suspension or maybe even expeled from any paintball tournements over the yer or month, etc. What do you think about it??????

do it, just like baseball, and sweating ecessivly on the field, that should lead to suspension too

Wiping or cheating? Ok great. Drug tests? How about no. A paintball player cannot chemically improve their game, and what substances he takes away from the game isnt anyone's business. If Billy Gardner is secretely a coke head, well then that's his mistake but why the hell should that affect whether he can play or not. Alcohol???? People can no longer consume a legal substance? You start implementing drug tests and you infringe on a persons rights to privacy and you try and run their lives when you have no right. That's total BS and a stupid idea, sorry to have to say it, but paintball and facism should not be intertwined

notice Twitch how I made sure to use alcohol in acertain form not to be confused with a light beer every now and then. I said too much meaning that this affected the in some way maybe got in a fight and someone pressed charges or maybe got in an accident. I agree with the drug tests I wouldnt want to either but this is what the magazine said. I agree with you about 80% though I feel there is some extent to how far the players could really go. And I'm not just speaking for every man who plays in a tournament maybe just the pros not necessarily the small town tourneys.

Well, drinking to the point that you pass out in the tub aint my idea of fun, but for someone else maybe it is. I honestly dont think that too much alcohol exists, it's all personal preference. However, if the person gets too drunk and creates a scene in the local town or at the tournament, or commits some other crime (trashing a hotel room), sure, why not suspend them. But substance abuse, though not really my cup of tea is up to an individual to regulate, not any paintball circuit

well i have noticed that teams or players with these types of problems have not ever been reported. i haven't ever really heard of an alcoholic or drug addicted paintball player.

there really isnt enough money payed to the players for them to afford all the drugs and alcohol. so until it becomes a problem, why not just leave it alone and let the players regulate themselves.

the reason you havent seen it yet is because the only time we ever see paintball is in videos person or magazines. they dont tell you that those people are drug atticts because paintball is such a precious sport because we're trieng to get more people to join and not let the government ban the sport we all love. The reason you dont see it is because these rules are not inforced if they were and you didnt see your favorite player play in the tournament that day well you cant hide it he did somethin wrong to get kicked out. The reason I'm saying this is not to support it or give it a backbone just so people realize exactly what these people are talkin about......Twitch I know someone who can help that problem also..PM me asap please increase the peace not the violence you should go straight edge like me +++++ lol.... not guilty.

ok if he is high on the field then he should be tested considering drugs are Illeagle everyone seems to forget that. but other than that wiping should just get warnings then suspensions

If drugs (illegal) are being conusumed in any way at the actuall event, i beleive just to protect the sports rep, that would be cause for suspension. Abusive acts in gengarl surrounding the event to.

There should be much stricter cheating penalties. If you're cought..you go to prison, end of discussion. Really, I think a player should be banned from that tournament as well as his team.

i think for any of the above they should be supsended just long enough to let everyone in the NPPL know how stupid they are...maybe they'll be embarassed and stop cheating, etc.

What?, you mean the All Americans, they're bigger piss tanks than Avalanche. they won't help your paintball problem with your drinking team

I was watching some 4-man rookie Airball, this older man (early 30's) was standing beside me. We were about 15 ft (behind netting) away from a player in a snake. The ref was standing right infront of us and was watching the player VERY closely. Player A (in the snake) went to snap shoot player B in the back right can. Player A got a shot on the outside of his gun which broke, since his gun was chrome it was kinda hard for me to see (infact, I didn't see it, the man pointed it out to me). The ref MUST OF noticed!! He was so close to Player A! The man I'm with tells the ref to check his gun, but it's too late, the hit was wiped..BUT, as Player A shows his gun, he leaves the large wipe stain on his glove in plain view. Sure, the ref saw it, but he didn't even make a call! Player A got tagged bout 2 minutes later.
I hate that, the ref's supposed to do his job but he jus let it happen like it was nothing, IN FRONT OF AN AUDIENCE!

HAHA, that f*g in the silver/blue jersey, BAH. That's just bad, especially on film. His team should've been suspended from the tournament. After that they should pay a fee (big one!) plus be denied access into the next NPPL tourney. Hopefully they'll learn their lesson.

I say increased paint and entry costs, after the banishment period is over unless that player is kiked from the team

thats why the nppl is going to have real refs, instead of teams reffing each other. or they should.

for players that cheat. ban them for the next leg of the nppl/millenium series, and take 200 points away from their grand point total. 200 points doesn't sound harsh enough, make it a 1000 points.

Hmm.....a drunk guy with something capable of expelling projectiles at upwards of 350+ feet per second(do you think drunks care about velocity rules?).....just my thought of an accident waiting to happen. I mean, come on, just because alcohol is legal doesn't mean ther shouldn't be laws restricting when you can use it. How would you like it if your captian on the airplane picked up the microphone and said something along the lines of:

"Good evening everybody(whisper: "It's morning sir"). *hiccup* That's what I said. Good night everybody. Welcome to today's all night bar.....I mean flight. I can't tell you much about the safety procedures because frankly, I'm a little messed up right now, but I can tell you I'll be doing the flight attendant once we hit 35 million feet or so."

But see, that's ok, because alcohol is a legal substance and we wouldn't want to take that right away from an airline pilot.
