Barrel Threads?

does anyone know if the BE Raptor threads match the spyder threads?

only raptor threaded barrels match the raptor.

i think there was some obscure old gun that had the same threads, BE didn't invent them to corner the market on raptor barrels. the just picked the wrong thread that didn't happen to become popular.

just go to e-bay and do a search for Raptor in paintball as a category. There is all kinds of cheap stuff for raptors!! since there discontiued, and they don't have the best reputation... but the cool thing is I just got a 14" 32º Barrel for ten bucks that works really well, much improvement in shot grouping, the stock barrel seemed to shoot curve balls after about tweanty feet?? the new barrel has taken care of that!! it shoots way better now...

Get a a brass eagle custom barrel. You know the ones that come srtock on the rainmaker. They are really cheap at pbgear.com and the design is based on the angels jacko barrel. I had this barel on my old rainmaker and it's one of the best barrel I have ever shot.

actually, the rainmaker stock barrels are jacko infinity barrels, with a BE thing stuck on it. jacko manufactured them.

The raptor has plenty of barrels to choose from. I got a whole bunch. The one I like to use is a dye ultralite, and I'm dead sure they made freak kits for raptors. You just gotta look around a bit.

I believe Rainmakers are cocker threaded

yeah, you're right, rms are cocker threaded. i was just replying to someone who said something about the rm barrels being similar to the jacko barrels.

my blue raptor has the stock blue barrel, which is actually a pretty nice small/med bore barrel. i've also got the EW barrel for it, which is more large bore. i traded my small-bore thunderpig 14" for a 15G hard drive.

The marauder has spyder theads. The raptor has special threads. Not spyder, and not cocker.............

IIRC, the Raptor thread match the F4 Illistrator. I'm not 100% positive but I think they are interchangable.

It's not F4, it's F1. The Raptor has F1 threads. Lapco makes a F1 to 'Cocker barrel adapter if you want a bigger variety of barrels.
