Hinge Trigger

OK, this is going to sound like a newbie question, but I have to know.
How exactly does a hinge trigger work, and what would it do for my game if it were available for the A-5?

do you mean a hinge trigger frame for an auto cocker?? if you wanna know how that works go to the wgp fourum.
if you mean a double finger trigger that is just a new trigger that you put on you gun instead of the standard trigger. it wont really do anything for your game. it will allow you to get less finger fatige and maby a slightly higher rate of fire.

its nothing more than a strait double trigger for the 98... or a-5 when they get it...

and on the cocker all it does is act as a "hinge" for your acuator(sp?) rod... pulling it through the 3-way... directing gases in the right direction... its nothing more than a pivot...

actually, it pushes it with a hinge...but you generally got it right :)

how do we know the rod isn't pulling the hinge... instead of you pushing it...
and you switch the hoses around so the 3-way doesn't know the differance anyways...

by definition, a hinge trigger is what is stock on almost all markers, it rotates around a point. technically your a-5 has a hinge trigger...just autocockers and probably some other guns (i dont want to think through all of them) use a sliding trigger, it moves straight back, dosent swing, and you can change that to a swinging hinge trigger if you so wish.

thanks everybody, I actually have a DT for my A5, I was just wondering if a hinge trigger is any different. For the record, if you train your fingers, you can get an INSANE ROF with a double trigger and the RT.
