Dude...crotch shots and cups

Ok, I couldn't think of a clever and practical way to put this in a poll so.... I wanna know how many of you wear cups, and how many have taken some (paint)balls in the well... region regardless of whether or not you wear a cup.

I have been playing for over 5 1/2 years and i have only been shot there on one ocasion. It was from 15-20 ft, I got hit twice, niether broke.

No I do not wear a cup.

i've been shot there before...one more cm up and i would've had to remove a nut..so i always wear my cup now..

I got hit there 2 times in one day. I don't use a cup but I do keep a long sock down there. I like keeping somethig soft down there because it feels better when I lay on the ground.

if anyone's got the balls go on letterman and for the stupid human tricks wear a cup and have letterman kick you in the balls repeatedly then pretend like you didn't have a cup on and fall to the ground screaming and frothing at the mouth

I have been playing for about a year and never got shot anywhere near the balls. The only place i ever got shot was the mask, gun, or upper body

gettin hit there still hurts, but not as much as when you're going without a bunker for your little soldiers...they pay you back later when you're trying to have kids..:eek:

i use socks and they work pretty good. Your willy may find holes to creep in and it gets pretty annoying. But once you start playing you forget about it.

Yep, cant play paintball without cuppage. I dont care how small the paintball is or how low the probability is of getting hit there, u gotta protect little jimmy and the potato twins. :D

Always wear one. I havent been shot there, but I have been shot in the area surrounding many times. Thats close enough for me.

I find that cups are way more uncomfertible than they are worth. They also restrict movement way to much. On the breakout it can just plan old hurt to wear one and it slows me way down. One the breakout every second counts.

Plus when I slide in to a bunker it crushes my pakcage which hurts more than geting shot there.

You know, I've never encountered any of those problems, Counter. Of course, it helps if you're wearing an Athletic Cup and not one from the Kitchen Cupboard.

Perhaps the worst thing that could happen if you get hit in the nads is that it could Rupture a testicle. Not only would that be very painful, but it could lead to more serious complications.

uh huh..anywayz..yeah if you get hit there..you could rupture a testicle.that leads to internal bleeding, surgery, and a WEIRD looking male genitalia afterwards...i'd rather have a slightly restrictive cup than have a ball chopped off..i've learned my lesson..i almost had to get one removed..never will i play pb without a cup again LOL

Never wore a cup and never will. I have only taken one shot to the groin (that hurt) in the 10 years I have been playing. A big way to prevent it is to be concious of your body position (don't squat with your legs wide open) and also wear baggy clothes... just my opinion though

This topic should be settled. Counter has a good point, a cup isnt the best the to run with. But is it worth the chance to take a nut shot? I wear a mask, why not a cup? After all, guess what I value just as much as my eyes? Getting shot there is just flat out bad for business.

well the dude shot me from close distance at 350 fps...so then I got shot in the lower region....doctor sed if i was shot a little more, it would've ruptured and i'd have to get it removed..:eek: lucky huh?

I don't use a cup when I play, besides I'm layin down on my stomach most of the time and if they can hit em when I'm like that then that guy DESERVES to hit me and I will hold no grudges...well...maybe just a little one, he did hit the jewels.
