View Full Version : Imitation Paintball?

There is a field near me.... 1 hour away, and it's got this
"We were approached about opening an indoor paintball field in a gym that an expanding Tae Kwon Do school was considering renting. Using real paintballs wasn't an option. The building would have needed to be cleaned every weekend. The only viable solution was "imitation paintball" using foam balls. We were planning on becoming a Lazerball facility, but ended up with a different foam ball manufacturer. Paintball gear, SupAir barricades, it looks like paintball, but there's little foam balls. No mess, but the same paintball sting and adrenaline rush. There are no limits on how many shots you may fire. "
What do you think of this? Would I be worth it to try out? OR does anyone else know about this?

Give it a try, doesn't seem as good as normal paintball though.

I agree, people could cheat like crazy.

Ya, and that kind of defeats the purpose of paintball, it makes it more similar to airsoft.

To me, it sounds like it's asking for another situation like LaSoya and his grand-master bunker/judgment skills.
It's like playing dodge-ball without getting people out--kinda pointless.

I played it before. I played this before I played real paintball. It doesn't hurt even half as much, and you can cheat very easily. The best thing about this is how much of an advantage you have with an Armson barrel.

No. NEVER shoot T-Balls at ANYONE. They're as dangerous as a .22. They can send someone to the hospital because they're hard rubber.

???? Nobody here is selling anything, but if you are refering to Rufus Dawg T-Balls (rubber balls for target practice only) , I highly doubt you want 2000. 2000 would cost you $350 + shipping. People usually only buy 50rds for about $15 or 400rds for about $70.

when i first read about those foamballs i was so happy. finally a way to play inside my house without getting paint over everything. My house would really make a kick *** indoor feild. BUT. then i looked more and more at their site and the cost of those foamballs and it really isn't worth it. The idea is great. But only 3000 rounds for about 570 dollars shipped?? what the hell? that definatley isn't worth it. and if you were trying to play a real game with them it would be so easy to cheat. A game could last the entire day. If you ran out of foam balls just grab some off the floor and use them.
Though i do think that it would be funny if during some huge tourney match you switched one team's paint with those foam balls and just sit back and watch the match. that would be so fricking funny.
