you need a new barrel, preferable small bore and with little or no porting for maximum efficiency...also you will need a high flow bolt, although you can modify the stock one. You will definitely need a turbo valve, and a reg. You will also need a high flow vertical adapter or modify the stock one. Also, you need to polish the internals of your gun.

the gun i want to do the conversion is a tl plus with a palmer stablizer reg.i forget the name of the bolt but i am going to get a different bolt, a new barrel for sure, but my question is what do i need to make it a low pressure, besides the bolt, barrel, and reg. and does anyone sugest a good barrel? i was thinking the smart parts freak system.

Do the setup i have, but use the palmer stabilizer reg instead.

do either Damn Fool's or my setup..i think that we have the best spyder setups hehe :D NO don't get the Smart parts freak..get a JJ Ceramic or a Lapco Barrel, they are small bore and have great efficiency...the Freak and AA don't have good efficiency at all.

Tl is right, dont get the freak, If u have the money, get the boomstick, and of not, the j&j. Its half the price, but probably the second best barrel.

We both do have pretty swwet spyder setups. I just did a whole bunch of new tuff too. I get my asa adapptor back tomroo, and ill tell u what psi im shooting at, cause at the moment i dont know, but with my guage, i can tell u

cool cool...remember it's not what PSI you're shootin at..but how low you can go without turning your gun into a slug..you want an efficient gun that shoots normal.

thanks for the help, i was thinking of going boomstick for the longest time, so ill prob go with the boomstick after all. My freinds is gonna sell me his brand new boomstick because hes up sest with going into the marines so he wants the ACI graffiti barrel with the american flag on it, i told him it was no good but he doesnt care he likes the american flag. so im gonna buy his boomstick after all. do you guys recomend a bolt?

Is the dye SS any good for lp?

The Dye SS is actually a little more efficient than the Boomstick because its a one step, and there's little room for the gas to dissipate. For me, i think it has a little too much porting, but it is an ok barrel for lp...i think it's better than the boomstick as far as lp goes.

do you have to have a drilled asa or an aftermarket one? can i go lp w/ just my stock?

i drilled out my asa adapter. Your stock asa is restrictive, and you need to drill out the holes in order to achieve a low pressure.

It hleps a lot, especially on a psyde,r becasue the holes are so small. Id bring it to your pro shop, becsue u dont want to drill the whole too big and go right through whrer the scre goes in to hold the asa on the gun. It cost me 35 dollars to have my asa drilled out, but i also had bought a 22 dollr guage and had them tap that, so u dont need the guage witha palmer stabilizer. It should cost u like 10 or 15 bucks to have done.
