Im in a dillema I need a gun because Im obsessed but im only in the hundred dollar range! I want a Spyder Shutter but the only gun my mom will even think about paying for is the downgraded 2 in 1 compact, I used to like it until my friend kept on laughing at me because he had the upgrade. Is there any way I can somehow upgrade the gun by myself to make it be like the shutter? I was thinking about maybe getting a kit with the 2 in 1 and putting a new barrel would that work? Im confused Im love the shutter but I have to settle for the cheap 2 in 1 help!

buy a $80 compact 2000. then buy a jj 2 piece $80. expansion $20. thats 180. its just as fast and twice as accurate.

da^^n today has been a long day hasnt it! whooW changed my mind about 30 times, im just gonna get a cheep compact and trick it out with a new barrel expansion, hopper and other accessories for destruction!

The only thing I dont like about the compact is the plastic trigger frame. Plastic compresses when you screw in the 2 screws, which is all fine and good, but when you try and turn them out, the extra pressure from the plastic pushing against the screws puts too much tension in the screw, and you usually end up stripping the screws. Other than that, it's a great gun, though I've never stripped a screw anywhere but the cheap plastic gripframe on the Spyder Compact

you can still get a new frame for 50. it should still be in the range of a shutter but will be a lot better.

hmm.. didnt know about the plastic on it, anyway I can put grip around the plastic? Or when I get an expansion set in the future does that come with a new trigger frame?

hmm.. I dont think ill be screwing around with the screws much though except for when im upgrading, and thats only going to be once for the trigger frame.. so it doesnt seem like a hazordous problem, hey if it breaks you have no gun until you have 50 bucks who cares.

i doubt it would break. i used the plastic cocker frame for 8 months without a problem and if it does crack good o'l superglue will fix it :)

Expansion chambers do not come with trigger frames or grips. The most it will come with is a bottom line with the elbows. :)

I've never had trouble with my trigger frame except it's light i'd rather get a chrome benchmark so it feels evened out.:D

If you have no money get a Spyder!

Spyders are cheap and if you love customizing you want a spyder.

Go Spyder!

piranhas are just as customizable, and they come standard with rear cocking, they also dont have staggered holes. piranhas are better for the money. and they are the same price as a compact. piranha vtl g2, is about 90-100. its a great gun. they are rentals at my field.
