If I had to, yes...
But I'd rather use a spyder, trigger is nicer, if I had to use a low end gun.

There is nothing wrong with using a tipmann in a tourny. People can shoot faster than you but if you are a better player it won't matter.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AAAAAAAHAAAAAHAAAAA

Oh the memori-AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

And I'd prefer a Spyder, or a another gun that wasnt working perfectly, but was still usable. Pretty much I'd prefer to avoid the tippman, but it's better than a pump i suppose.

BAH, I'd rather use an M98 as a club and hit other players on the head with it. REF, CHECK THE LUMP ON HIS HEAD, HE'S OUT!

I'd trust a tricked out M98 Custom in a tournament anyday!! As long as you got good skill that man with the $1000 gun can eat you paint when you bunker him while he's reloading.

what gun wouldn't you trust?

Only as a backup gun.
And Trauma, maybe you should shoot a cocker before you get this 'it's as good as a cocker mentality'.
By the way, am I the only person extremely annoyed by Tippmann's lame attempts to be "tourney level?" I just think I would rather not be forced to uprgrade with all Tippmann's crappy upgrades.

team tippmann effect used em, why cant you?

make sure to use a rt trigger atleast though, no stock trigger.

Team Ridge Boys also uses Tippmanns. They are the top ranked team in the PRA Mid-South Tournament Series.

I played on an Alley Cat so long the trigger pull on a model 98 was like a wet dream to me...talk about hard trigger pull...If your fast, you can really unload out of a model 98 or any low end semi.

I remember when I shot my friends tricked out 98 cocker.....man it was soooo sweet.......it had a hair-pin tigger......it worked great.....I was gunna buy it but I decided not to......cause sometimes it had problems like it would never clock under my local field limit which is too low in the first place, that and I didn't really want a cocker at the time......I'll probably get that or an electro soon when I get in to tourneys......

that tippman team doesn't use "stock tippys". they have every possible upgrade you can fit in the thing. I think someone did some milling too for em. One of their guns will prob have $800 in it easily

yeah I remember watcing a tourney video with them in it.....thse are probably the most expensive tippmans ever.....I wonder if they use RT or electronic....but it is probably electronic....
