how do you remove the trigger from the frame?

there are screws which you can take off with allen keys where the trigger frame ends. just take allen keys and screw em off

After you separate the ETF from the body use a dowel to punch the pin for the trigger. Punch from the smooth side of the pin so you do not disturb the splines.
