Ronin 5 pod turtle Pack?!?!?!?!?!

Is the 5 Pod Turtle pack by Ronin Gear a good choice for someone who plans on playing Back-mid??????:D

i got the ronin 3+2 stealth. so when i play tournies i carry 3 pods but when i play rec sometimes i carry 5. but with only 3 it collapses down on the other pouches for the 4th and 5th pod. its real nice and tight to. doesnt bounce or twist at all.

Yeah most of the Ronin Gear is really good. If you are mid back, the slam pack or turtle pack is great. If you are looking for a bit more flexibility, the 3/2 stealth pack is better. It gives you the option of holding 5 or 3 tubes very snugly and compactly. Gives you a very small profile

depends on how much paint you go through in one game... or more. if you have a small waist than forget it, get the redz dimension pack, or the extreme rage millunium packs.

Wow i looked around online at Ronin packs the Stealth is really nice. The Turtle pack looks like it would pop out without you knowing. Anyone who has it do you like it?:D

exactly. the only problem i found is that if u are playing rec ball in the woods and u slide alot u might accidently pop open one of your tubes (the two) but i havent had a problem with that in tournies.

I have a Ronin Deluxe Slam pack, it's similar to the turtle pack. And it works great. No problems at all, and no it doesn't pop out or anything. it fits in it place pretty snug actually. this pack has taken a beating, and it works great. I got it for $29.00 from Ebay (brand new, check the auctions that II sporst has on Ebay) great deal!

Go down to your local army suplus store and pick up an A.L..I.C.E. tactical rig. the only modification you will have to do to it is to make the straps that fasten it shut a little longer. I cut off the extra ones from the bottom grenade puoches and attached them. It will hold 4 tubes vertically on your chest. They will not fall out or open up and you also have the benifit of padding on your chest and shoulders. + it looks bad@ss. It should cost around 15-20$

no only the two pods that lay on top pop open if u hit them just right. but my pod lids arent tight so maybe I need to get some new ones

had a 5v deluxe slam pack from ronin gear... didn't like it because as you do a power slide... the lids accidentally open. It also depends if you're body slides more right or more left. Solutions is flip the pods over... But during some situations they accidentally fall out. Sold it to some unsuspecting victim on ebay... I tried it out several times, cleaning it after each game. After selling it, i bought the new extreme rage millenium paqs 4+3. holds more or less, depending on your style of play.
