how is this related to tippys? running a remote on any gun will be the same...
its all practically personal preference... if you dont want the tank, get a remote.

exactly what eryk said. i love my remote. it sticks nest to my side and i've never gotten it stuck on anything. it's a releif because the tippy is a bit heay, but it not that heavy.

Personally i like a drop forward better than a remote. It evens out the wieght pretty well and helps alot.I have heard that remotes coil up sometimes and are a pain in the butt but some people think they are great. It all comes down to personal preference

 All preference. Some people like drops, some people like remotes.

I've run drops and remotes, have to say I like the remote better. Gets weight off, especially when you have a warp also, and like the drop takes some length off. I have the steel braided remote, like it a bunch better than the coiled, yes I've tried both. Havn't had a prob in woods or speedball. Just get a good harness. Personally I like this redz pack (http://store.yahoo.com/actionvillage/040-7400.html) holds nice and snug with the included belt and add some suspenders...perfect

Remotes are usually around $30 and up.
Here are a bunch of remotes:

all depends on what you like.
The remote takes the tanks wieght off the gun. But then again I think the remote cord gets in the way. So I like drops. I can switch hands playing supair and stuff and not get tangled.
Depends on your playing style and the likes.
