Why is my Tippy so unaccurate. I was shooting marbs, and i think the bore was the wrong size. even with good paint, my gun just sucks! i hate it. why is mine so much worse than my friends? Why is it happening?!?!?

first of all, what barrel are you using? and if your using the stock barrel...then get a new one, the Custom products and Lapco Bigshot's are good choices....

If you're still using the stock barrel, marbs are much too small. Try something like RPS Bigball, or Draxxus Inferno. Those should be bigger bore. Or invest in a better barrel such as a Lapco Bigshot, Smart Parts All American, or a Custom Product barrel. Those should shoot marbs very well.

i dont mean to sound blunt but, are you actually aiming?
like if you just hold and shoot 5 times you may move the gun, try putting it on a stand and checking it.
Then if its still crud , you need a new barrel or check your internals.

Im using a J&J 14 ceramic
and yes i do aim, the balls cirve a lot, and its not me thats moving to make them curve. I did notice that the balls rolled outta the barrel. Its prolly just the bore size.

it also could be the barrel alignment. 98's are known for that since their course threads and clam shell design

if they curve alot your velocity may be too high

or your jj was defective... some jj's bores were messed up when produced.

and if a defective barrel is the culprit... you could most likely get it replaced...

Chrono your marker first, sounds like it could be too high (like penny said). Or like Eryk says it could be the barrel, but I wouldn't go with that right off. Try some paint that matches the barrel better and a lower velocity (if it is too high).
