I recently purchased a eclipse front reg mount, and i need to remove the things on my maxy, which are held with red locktite (pretty sure) I was wondering if one of those long-tipped lighting torches would work to heat it up (you know, the "bic" lighter that has the trigger thing) well, i hope you know what im talking about, and porst if you know if that will work.
THanks

also do you think it would be ok to use loctite 234 (purple/dark blue) to put the elbows and stuff on my maxy?

You can use a hair dryer to losen the loctite. Blue should do fine on your fittings.

Why not just but a new fitting? It should only cost a couple of bucks at the paintball store. They ususally come with a sealant type material already on it so you won't need to add loctite unless you remove it again.

Smart Parts advises not to use teflon tape as it could break off and gunk up the solenoid.
