Ok, at our field me and my teammates are the more experienced players at the field so we try to help the newbs by giving them tips. For example, almost every game I guarantee you can look to the back of the of the field a newb will have his marker propped over the top of the bunker aiming at someone and he'll be wide open, so naturally he gets lit up. So we try to help em out tell em to avoid coming over the top and try to come out the sides, be unpredictable, but they never listen. I guess eventuelly after getting lit up enough they'll learn. Do you have any problems with stubborn newbs?

Im not a newb but i dont have any airball fields around here that i know of, so ill probably slide right through the bunker, its gonna suck cuz everyone will think im a newb :(
and the fact ill get lit up like a christmas tree

airball is the best imo... you just gotta love the sound of paint hitting bunkers...

With newer players, it's all in how you say it to them. I've learned that if you sound positive and confident with what you say, they'll listen more.

oh yeah, all the time. My friends and i see a lot of newbs taking their masks off in the middle of the game. We tell them they need to keep it on or go blind. Some will just walk away and act like you just spat nacho cheese at them from out of your eyeballs. They dont deserve to play if they cant even listen to advice.

If theyre too stubborn and ignore you just dont bother, they have no place in paintball.
Smart people listen when theyre given tips by those more experienced than they are.

Oh and most will ignore you unless you're wearing a *scary* jersey.

I know when I was a newbie I took all the advice I could get. They newbs that take their mask off are dumb asses. I saw a kid get shot right in between the eyes, talk about a close call.

At the beginning of each airball game when my bunker gets shot it still scares me on the first shot. It is soo loud! I often notice newbs don't listen. When I was a newb some guy told me about talking to you teamates on the speedball field. Well I forgot to the next game and he got all pissed at me! It wasn't cool.
