Trade for the spyder. I have had a rebel bottomline and a rebel le and they both broke on me. I sent both guns back to 32*(national paintball supply) around a month and 1/2 ago and I still have not received the new guns I was promised. I now have a spyder and it seems to be a better quality of gun than the rebel. Get the spyder, ditch the rebel.

I took excellent care of both guns, they break connecting pins like crazy, the le's x-chamber was cheap as hell and stripped out and the hammer plug on the rebel bl broke where the quick strip pin goes through. Maybe you will luck out with yours but I had nothing but bad luck with mine, and the guns were bought new in march. And lack of care was not the cause of the problems, I take very good care of all of my equipment.

Most guns don't work that great in the cold. If you get a reg and an anti-siphon tube, then you will be set.

id trade for the spyder. spyders are good quality and my friends rebel keeps breaking. the trigger fell off about a week ago. i also heard that NPS doesnt have good customer service. spyders have more upgrades anyway
I don't see the need to trade. With the parts on your Rebel, you are easily out-shooting that Spyder Java.
I like my Rebel, and I think 99% of the bad $hit you hear about them is nothing but heresay. Not only that, but they are essentially the same exact gun. Same materials. So it stands to reason that Spyders break too. You just won't hear about it as much becasue they are so trendy. They are both good, reliable markers in my opinion...but I like to go with the underdog. So I use a Rebel.
I've had NO problems. I also bought it used over EBay. NPS has been around longer, and they know what they are doing. My gun is light, quiet, fast and accurate. I can't ask for more.
Not sure what it looks like if you compare features, but I'd guess they are pretty similar (Spyder Java to Rebel Deluxe, or whatever the equivalent pair would be).
Upgrades...well, I'd say they both have everything you're gonna need available in the aftermarket. And you already have that Rebel in nice shape from the looks of your sig.
Don't bother trading, unless you personally don't like your gun or have a real reason to trade. But there's very few opinions I would take seriously on this board, if you know what I mean. ;)

Trade! I had a Rebel LE and that thing was a cheap piece of junk. The connecting pin broke on it the second time i used it. I think the Compact would be better.
