I think it's fine. You can see people drink in a lot of sports like baseball, football, hockey.

IMO drinking and playing with things that fire projectiles at 204 MPH at 15 times a second a more don't mix very well.

I don't think it should be allowed, but it happens.

No alcohol allowed on our fields.

I don't think paintball would be very fun if you were drunk. I have friends who smoke the dope and play counter-strike. They totally own when they're high!!! I wonder if marijuana would help your game in paintball. Anyone have any experience?
Note: I do not smoke pot. I highly discourage the use of drugs or alcohol.

Weed is not a performance enhancing drug

But the players don't drink before or while they are playing. In baseball etc the fans do.

Drinking and playing paintball=bad combination
We hear enough stories about idiot rental players taking their masks off on the field can you imagine how much more that would happen if they were also drunk.
Also think if you play at a woods filed where there are ravines to fall down, drunks arent know for being the most steady on their feet.....
Frankly any feild owner who knowingly allows people to drink and play paintball is just asking for a law suit.

Drinking and playing paintball is beyond dumb...it's just moronic. Smoking pot alone is really stupid. Take a drugs and behavior class in college sometime and find out what exactly marijuana does to your brain and the effects on your chemical receptors and cholinergic pathways and you'll never want to go near the stuff. Pot's pretty mild compared to Coke, Speed, Heroin, MDMA or any of the other drugs out there.
That being said...if you want to enjoy a beer after the day's done...go for it. Just do it in moderation and call it a day after you've had a drink. I see no problem with that and have done so on many occasions in many sports. They key is moderation. If you can't operate your vehicle...you shouldn't drink/be drinking.

Anything like drinking or smoking weed is just dumb. Snowboarding its acceptable though lol so that way they pull off all that crazy stuff and go so big.

mr. fixitx how could they get a lawsuit if they sign that release form making the paintball field not responsible for personal injury
Mrfxiitxx

PartSquirrel because unfortunatley thoose releases actually dont stand up in court but insurance companies require them so the field can have insurance.
The thing is people signing waivers just discourages them from filing a lawsuit it doesnt actually stop them. Especially if someone can show it was gross neglect on the part of the field. If the field owner/manager lets people who are drinking play on his field and they accidnetally shoot some ones eye out in the stagging area the victim can sue both the field and the indivdual who did it.
I wish it were are simple as sign a a waiver and no one can sue you if they get hurt but time and time again people get around all sorts of waivers. Heck people sue John Deere because the accidentally put their hand in spinning combine blades, and John Deere has a ton of warnings about that all over the place. Lawyers allways make life intersting for buisness owners for sure.

Ok heres an example I found with a quick search.

its a adobe file so it takes a second to load and yeah its not paintball but its still about waivers. Its on the 1st page under the title Waivers and Negligence.
