vertical feed loads balls faster and allows for faster feeding to the marker because balls are stacked directly one on top of the other so they just drop in and are fired.
powerfeed allows for most of the blowback to be released so the balls can load without being blown back up
if you can, get vertical feed, as it is more beneficial overall

if you drastically have blow back on your vertical feed take your marker and get the feed tube milled or you can just drill holes in it (not my fault if you make your gun ugly) :P

I think vertical feed it better. Now that I have a gun with vertical feed I won't ever go to a side feed or power feed gun (example: autocockers (not STO), shocker)

First off Cockers are not powerfeed they are standard...and shockers are great you cant even tell its powerfeed...The new 2k1 cockers have vert. feed..either way you wont notice anyhting with your spyder vert feed it has blow back i think spyders are better with power feed...

Just wanted to say, I tried both, vertical, and I think it's called a power feed( or standard or side who cares ). But I like the vertical. Just preference.

Oh yeah, the vertical feed, I have a revy, so it's kinda lose when you plug in the feeder. I put some tape on it, and it works fine. I think Dye makes a Neck Spacer that solves this problem. So this is a relatively small problem, which can be resolved with some tape, or for you rich folk, a neck spacer.

The cocker comes in either power, right or vertical, not just right feed. And vert feed still isnt standard for cockers, it's like an extra 150 more for vertical feed

A highrise adds 2-3 more balls stacked up in the feed tube, which will increase ROF cause more balls will be available. Although, with todays hoppers and technology (intellifeeds, sandridge revys, etc.) the high rise isn't necessary cause the hoppers feed fast enough that they dont need the extra 2-3 ball headstart. THe lowrise also lowers your profile. duh
so if your hopper feeds fast enough (if you cant outshoot it) get a lowrise cause smaller you are, less youll get hit

I shoot right and left handed in games so vertical feeds are my favorite...BTW, anybody know where I can get vertical feed bodies for a minimag.. or if I can?

well if you have a really happy trigger finger.....no...but you can get the same out of a powerfeed....but it all depends I mean if you get it on a cocker it would help out a lot.... but its not really a necessity....I like vert....I get a nice rof with it and I never shoot air cause of my 12 volt revvy....
