I was playing with my imp the other day and i noticed that when i started to rip on it balls would come out fine then like 5 or 6 balls into it some would just come rolling out of the end of the barrel. I dunno whats wrong. I cant rip on it and have balls rolling out of the end of the barrel. My setup is as follows
-2002 vision
-Undertow
-Werm Stick
-12 volt revy
-jackhammer 2 lpr
-Freak with 693 insert
- I was shooting big ball, and the shell was kinda a dark brown if that would effect the eye at all
-my pressure was like aroun 200 i dont know what my dwell was or what my velocity was

Sounds like your ball detent has fallen out. See if it has. It is a white ball on the side in the breech.

No they're still there. LIke it will shoot the first few fine and the next one or 3 or more will like roll out or just pop out 4 feet infront of me

ok.....shoot your gun, and while your shooting, watch the gauge on the max-flo....does the pressure sink?

Deffinatly sounds like a shootdown problem. What kind of tank are you using? And how fast do you shoot?

If it were an lpr problem, such as the pressure being too high or low. The problem wouldn't only happen after a few shots, thats why truely feel he's getting shootdown.
Do you have a horizontal reg by chance? And if you do, do you do the oring trick?

but, he could be getting shootdown from the lpr, so the noid doesnt give as much air to the ram.... not pushing it far enough, making the balls just roll out

Shootdown is shootdown. I didn't specify what kind. But either way, he wouldn't get that kind of results from the lpr being too far in/out.

yes he could
say the lpr is wayyyyy too far down
and recharge takes foreverrrrrrrr
then. he starts shooting fast..... the noid wouldnt get air fast enough, and would just start cycling the bolt, and not hitting the valve..... it would cause balls to roll out the barrel

No, you dont get it. If it was down too low, it would still recharge fast, but it would recharge to its low pressure. Say he put it down to 30 psi. It would always be at 30 when he shot, therefore his velocity readings would always be low. So his ball would always be rollling out of his barrel.
Therefore, having the lpr down too low wont cause shootdown.

ok then
say his lpr is gunked up, and is recharging slow, but upto the normal level...... then it would cause this

The regulator thats in front of the lpr. Either thats comming out of a tapped valve cap or the area where a prv would be. Its thin, and fairly long, and usually has a knob on the end of it. It is used to control the cocking pressure of the marker.

i had this problem when my lpr was screwed in too far i dont think it was shoot down but it was definantly doing what he is describing thats why i recommended either screwing it in or out a little bit because that solved my problem

Dont screw in your tank all the way in.

Not screwing your tank in all the way is a key problem which also can cause shootdown.
