View Full Version : Raised Sight Rail?

Does the dye izon sight fit on the Custom 98 with out modification? I got my sight and it didnt fit on the rail perfectly, so I filed it down to fit. The sight looks as if it is going to fall off and looks like it isnt held on that well. Would a raised sight rail be better to mount this on?

Although I would vote for sending the sight back...it won't do anything. Paintballs are to inaccurate for the use of a scope.

not nessicarily.
they can intimidate people with lesser skill into believing that they can hit you from a mile away..... however, i bet you voided the warranty with that file...

i use a red dot sight.
i like it.
gives me a ref point for longer shots.

Regardless, you probably ended all hope of returning it by filing it down. I think that was more of his point.

you filed the site correct..?:confused: i was a little confused as to wether you filed that or you filed your tippy... either way its still gonna be loose...

I'll sell you my lapco sight rail for $10. And it will fit that.

Yeah I filed the sight :( So you dont think a sight rail would help mount it better because i already filed it?

The lapco rail bolts on with the screws that hold the vavle in place.
