Time Out

Are you aloud to call time outs during a game?

The other day me and my friends were playin a game. We went into the woods and we dont play anywhere special just behind my friends houses. It was my 2 friends against me they said I could bunker myself so it was fair but I don't like to stay in one spot so, I got out of my bunker and we started to play. Well my friends gun got all messed up I don't know what happened to it so he just sits to the side and doesn't say anything. Until me and my other friend get into a little "war". so the other kid thats sittin out yells time out and I ended up hittin the kid I was in the "war" with and he says to me that, that shot didn't count but the kid that I'm shootin at was also shotin at me and he says he was lookin the other way. I was like are you even aloud to call time outs?

I just thought that this was kinda unfair but I don't care it's just a game. But I'm just curios to find out.

i have never heard of any field allowing them.

But if it is your field and you are making the rules, I guess you can.

The only thing that i have seen w/ guns getting messed up on the field is a ref comming up to them and helping them.

yeah at some really small indoor fields, whenever someone is out the game is on pause until the player is out of the field.

heheheh it's like the3 matrix and all the paintballs are flying at you and *doink* time freezes when some one calls times and you pluck the paintballs out of the air and drop them on the ground and then call times again :)

A feild near us allows us to call "marshal" which is sort of a paint check/time out deal. The game keeps going until the ref gets there though. so really your still in the game. Time out wouldn't make that much sense though.... You could call it, but what if someone on the other team didn't hear you? Pow!Pow!Pow! they could have a "free" shot(s) at you :eek: . scary.
