I am going to get a gun for speedball. I was going to get an a-5 with egrip when I came across an impulse. Are Impulses worth the money? I just want the standard impulse. Is it better than better than an a-5 with egrip?

yes, it is better, as it is not just a sear tripper
and, the name "smart parts" helps;)

There are MANY upgrades available too. You can truly make it a one of a kind gun by choosing your own combination of parts.

it seems like you wont upgrade the impulse and time soon/ever. you would have to shoot both because few of us have or shoot stock impys anymore. it will be a close call because both are excellent markers. i would say impulse =)

please dont get an A-5 it would be so sad if u got that instead of an impulse. The impulse is lowpressure electropnuematic.....the A-5 is a blowback or hybrid blowback in ur case. After you shoot ur imp you will be so happy you got that over an A-5

just get some kind of adjustable trigger and ur pretty much set unless u want a air mod and the impulse is a great buy not only cause its lp but it also comes with a maxflow and a progressive barrel

i believe all tippmann electro kits make the tippmann NOT a sear tripper, but a true electro (i could be dead wrong)......
but a impulse seems a bit cheaper :eyes:
