i know the boomy is a great performer but the thing is i never seen the big daddy in action.

The Big daddy is not seen to often cause there almost the same price and people instictivly go for the dye brand name if it's not brand it's cause it's the boomer.

But the big daddy is similar to the freak in looks but about the same over all as the boomer. The big daddy is a little quieter than the boomer but boomer is better honed.

ya, ive never seen them lower than 16". they still have the all american teardrop so i dont think its one of those

well first i was gonna get one befor i decided on the stainless so i did research and i found a place that has 12 14 16 and 18 it http://www.paintballbarrels.com look at the smart parts link they have every size and kind of smarts parts barrel and the barrel is absolutly silent he has the 14 inch on it and you cant here **** if he had a closed bolt he would never be found and it is just as accurant as any barrel ive seen and it looks great to

Man, I've owned both a boomer and an AA, and there is no accuracy difference. That honing crap you posted is bull. They are both honed very well. And the Big Daddy really isn't any quieter than a boomer of similar length.

A big daddy is just a All American with tear drop porting
they are about the same in quietness (AA and big daddy)

acualy for pretty cheap you can pick up a AA so just get the AA from firstcalpaintball.com

performace will be very close, but personally i think the boomstick looks alot better. ecspecially if you have a black and chrome gun. you can also get boomsticks personalized in color.

I have a big daddy barrel and its really accurate but i used my friends boomer this week and it was a little better. The length was longer but it was almost as accurate. It was much more quite then my big daddy. I'd say go with a boomer.

Yah the longer boomer is quieter but If you compare them in 12 the big daddy is quieter.

I made that unclear. The big daddy was longer then the boomer. And the boomer was quiter

Thats cuz the boomer back is the same size and the front is variable while the BD has the same size front and the back is bigger on longer barrels.
