I went down to d-day this year and had a blast. Here's a couple of my funny expierences. My squadron went and jumped into a fire base to take cover, there was germans everywhere. So my brother decided he was going to chuck a tippmann squadbuster at them. He took the blasted thing out, pulled the pin, and forgot to hold on to the cap. He was right next to some kid too. Anyways the grenade exploded right there and man, you should have seen that kid. His whole pantleg was soaked in blue paint. bummer to be him.

Here's another one, also from d-day. One of my buddies was in a firebase, and he was running for some cover. He also had a grenade in his pantleg. He dove to the cover and smashed the grenade in his pants. Man I didn't know those grenades had so much paint in them. It looked like some one poured a bucket of paint on him.

Last but not least. Down at d-day, we were just playing a fun game right before the break. It was the allies had to attack the germans in the firebase. Anyways we all took off running for cover in the beginning, man it was like WW2. Some insane guy took off running for a binker like way up there. We were watching him the whole way, and he actually made it. Just when he thought he was safe some german chucked a grenade and nailed him. Oh well, he was one brave allie.

All these incidents were from d-day 2001, which was a blast. I'm also going to A Bridge to Far in september. Were bringing a tank to that one. Its a VW bus, its going to cool. Were going to be on the allies again too. If you want more info. about A Bridge to Far, go to there web site at http://www.bunkerextreme.com I hope to see you there in september!

During a big game one of my teammates was crawling slowly around a landbridge and was being extremely stealthy. Then the dang REF tossed a bouncing betty in his direction. LOL was the funniest thing ever. The left side of his body was covered in blue paint. After he cleaned himself off and got back in the game he took a couple of shots at the ref.

I don't know, its just that feelin you get, knowing you can cover a guy in paint in seconds. Plus you can throw them over bunkers and take out people, thats what I do!

The only thing grenades are good for is taking out campers, and if you’re any good yourself, you shouldn’t need a grenade. Land mines on the only hand require skill, you have to estimate your enemy’s route and camouflage the mine. Grenades are way over priced for a one-time use item, but mines can be refilled easily and cheap. I wish owned a mine, they cost about 40 bucks though.

I think grenades are something just to be used as a last resort or to (if ur like me) to merseylessly stomp your oppent into the ground like the little speck of dirt he is....o my bad flashback.....like i was saying grenades are a last resort if its somethign like 3 on one cuz hte rest of your freakin squad just runs out in the open just begging to be shot and ur the only one smart enough to stay under cover......whoa sorry another flashback.......yeah i'll uhhhhh go now

Grenades can be fun, but not if someone uses grenades more than their gun!

I was playing at a friends house (real nice setup, it's an old barn w/ a main level w/ lots of rooms and cover, an upper loft where we took hay bails and set them up into bunkers, and outside there is a TON of cover!). Anyways we we're playing capture the flag, one was outside in like an alley w/ only 1 way out and a bunker at the other end, the other is in the loft. It was really super hard to get into the loft because there are only 3 ways up. We had been trying for a while (when you get shot, you go back to your flag station, wait for 1 min, and re-enter) and we knew their positions, they were in a bunker by the back wall.

My friend (who was in the bunker) made the mistake of showing me a "secret" opening that went right into their bunker. I threw a grenade up there and you should have heard them yell! we marched right up there and took their flag :) they couldn't do nothin' about it :)
