Im curious about the colors for a mask lense, what are the advantages/disadvantages to the various colors? I know things like smoke create a "sunglasses effect" and the amber and yellow are similar to "shooters glasses" what about other colors? Do they do anything useful or is it just a style thing? Thanks.

actually they will help you in certian conditions.
Yellow/Amber increase contrast. Basically lets you distinguish outlines easier.
blue/clear lower light conditions. shady overcast
smoke bright sunlight, basically sunglasses
thats about it....

That's cool about letting you see outlines better. which color would be best for a woods player, yellow/amber/red?

yeah, I think so, but for sure nothing that makes it darker. I was playing with someone in the woods who could barely see because he had dark lenses.
