its a good gun for a newbie yeah. it is a great first gun, and is very reliable. my brother has the powerfeed model and i like it a lot. great stock gun overall, love the trigger pull.

i wouldn't reccomend it as a second gun if you already have a blowback because it is better to upgrade to a higher end semi, or an electro.

a newbie gun is usuially classified as any, Spyder, Piranha, tippman, 32*,PMI, JT and some other guns that perform the same. All good for a first gun

non newbie guns are usuially
WGP, ICD, WDP(DUH), Smart Parts, Bob Long (not millenium), Air Tech(matrix i think)

gun doesnt mean anything it can be a good gun if u make it good by improving ur skills

well personaly.. if i was a newbie i would go for a angel because it would make me a better player haha jk

go for the piranha its a great gun
