You need one but you don't need one.You need one so It can turn your liquid C02 into gas, and to make it more consistent, but you don't need one because enless you want to spend 50-60 on one.But it is a good upgrade.
Hope I helped, and welcome. *Smilie man do a dance for him*

Don't get an x-chamber. Get your Co2 tank anti-siphoned. Much cheaper and does the job the same, if not better.

I have a 20 oz tank that makes my gun back heavy. I bought a remote line and it works exactly like an expansion chamber and a lot cheaper.

get a regulator, it does the job nicely.

Do regs work that good on co2? I heard that they don't work on co2 that good and that they are not worth the money unless you have nitro.

screw all that regulator and expansion chamber crap. Just get antisiphon like turambar said.

Palmer stabilizers are excellent with both CO2 and HPA so if you get one...you aren't wasting your money later on when you switch to HPA...and they perform MUCH better than a expansion chamber..

i'd like to correct someone real fast, anti siphon tanks do not act at all like expansion chambers. expansion chambers job is to EXPAND the co2, anti siphon just stops liquid co2 from getting into the gun

An expansion chamber would be a good investment. It'll save you 0-ings and give you more shots per tank, plus it'll make your gun some what more accurate and help take some wear and tear out of your internals. Not to forget to mention, stop you from shooting ice. I dont know how a regulator would size up, supposivly better, but more expensive. I just bought the Tippman Expansoin setup, so I wouldn't end up buying the wrong peices for my gun, or peices I didn't need. I'm having it installed at a local dealer as I wright this. A good X-chamber would probaly be an A.P.P. X- chamber from Allen products or a X core 8 stage which is good. The X-core also works with Nitro. Allen has a package which sells the parts you need.
In conclusion, do you need one no, would it be good to get one, yes. Overall, this would be my second upgrade after a barrel. If your looking for a good barrel look at the all-american 2002 from smart parts. real accurate and pretty quiet. Has a nice finish. One more thing, a tighter stricker spring improvess the guns performance noticably. I've done it to my M98c. I've gone off subject, but i've been wanting to let you'll all know of the easy improvment. Hope I helped.

Excuse me of my mistakes, It won't let me use spell check for some reason?
