I usually get my paint from the fields that i play at, but i noticed they are a lot cheaper on the internet, my consern is, the last time i saw paint shipped it was all ruined.

Best thing to do is compare the difference in price. When ordering paint consider that there is about $10-$15 shipping charge added to the price you see on the site. So if you see paint on the web at $45, by the time you get it you'll be paying $55-$60 for that case. But if your field is selling the same paint for $70 a case, it might be worth it. Sometimes it's better to buy from a field or store because they will let check the paint for broken balls before you buy it. Just use your best judgement....

Internet Paint (especially off ebay) is a lot cheaper than store paint for the most part. But buying from stores is a lot more reliable and convenient. I buy off the internet, and from stores. But overall I prefer stores.

Is air shippment bad? Do they get wrecked easy or something.

paintballgear.com recommends ground shipping b/c air is alittle rough. anyways, find popular online companies and you should get good fresh paint. I have ordered over 20 cases online and have only had one case w/a broken ball. http://www.copaintball.com

never ordered thru air (im poor)
but i dont see how the shipping could hurt the balls if you ever see how much penuts they put in the packages its amazing

Actually, my friend found a site where it is free shipping, and u only pay for the paint, i think that they only sell in cases, but that is all i get anyway from the store...so money isn't a problem, i am wondering is the shipping air or ground goin to ruin the paint.

when i got my box of paint from air shipping, it looks as if someone played football with the box! if there is a local pb shop near you, check out the prices. if not, find an internet store that is in your area (example: i live in connecticut and i get my paintballs from 888paintball which is in new jersey.) get ground shipping

I just checked about 40 sites and couldn't find it. But I know for a fact there is a site that does it. I offer a reward to anyone who proves me right and finds it.

07-26-2001, 03:17 PM
how much?
Paint Bulley
07-26-2001, 03:21 PM
if I told what the reward was every person on the forum would be looking for it. So I will let the good semaritan find it (if anyone wishes, I might just find it on my own) and then I will give the person the reward and he can brag to all.

Well I join a paintball club and we get our paint wholesale so I don't order online. But if I didn't join this club I still go too a store.
The stores I get the same price as on line, so I use them sometimes also. but I'll never order paint online.
JDoGG
07-26-2001, 03:44 PM

I apologize.
SmartDyeSpyder
07-27-2001, 06:37 AM
that site, firstcallpaintball.com charges for shipping buddy, so that isn't the site we are looking for, but it does have good prices on paint...and web bargains...so u guys can check it out but i am gonna find the site w/ free shipping. If they have it for barrels, they should have it for paint, too.

SmartDyeSpyder
07-27-2001, 04:00 PM

KoRnMaN
07-27-2001, 04:31 PM
o your welcome anyway.
SmartDyeSpyder
07-28-2001, 06:09 AM
hey KornMan, i couldn't find any online store that is cheaper...i think they took the shippin price and added some of it to the price for the paint...b/c they are cheaper than online stores w/ shipping. So that is the store i might try to get paint from, but i am gonna wait a little bit b/c i have 1800 unused paint, that will be used this sunday afternoon at my local field.
KoRnMaN
07-28-2001, 07:41 AM
HAHAHAHA I have 2150 rounds.
SmartDyeSpyder
07-28-2001, 04:58 PM
I have to use the paint b/c i never am happy trigger in a game, unless speedball, but in the woods, i don't use up a lot of paint, i guess i could shoot more but that is another problem, KornMan why do u have so much paint unused?
KoRnMaN
07-28-2001, 05:07 PM

SmartDyeSpyder
07-28-2001, 05:35 PM

SmartDyeSpyder
07-29-2001, 05:19 PM

08-01-2001, 05:45 AM

KoRnMaN
08-01-2001, 06:29 AM
Yea good choice techically at our field we pay $11 for field fee and $4.50 for air fills and $100 for a case of paint but if you get the member ship of $95 and you go more then 9 times you actually are only paying $50-55 because then you get air fills free figure 2-3. Free field fee and $70 a case of paint. So thats what im doing next year. Sound good?
JDoGG
08-01-2001, 07:55 AM
whoa, where do you play? and how do you afford it. the field i play at in syracuse, charges 5$ to get in, 10$ if you have your own paint. 4$ for each hundred balls, and most air fills are under 3$, unless you have a huge tank.
SmartDyeSpyder
08-01-2001, 10:37 AM
Well, first thing is, i am there neighbors, second since i am real good friends, not just a customer, he gets me deals, and there is no admission price, just for refreshments, and they are high, one time i forgot my water and i had to pay a lot of money to stay hydrated.
JDoGG
08-01-2001, 12:08 PM
well it sucks the prices are so high, but its cool that you get deals and live next door! i would be over there every day bugging them about new products and asking if i can play and on and on.
SmartDyeSpyder
08-01-2001, 01:11 PM
Hey man, i do! It is so kool, he can get me stuff from the internet, but he pays for shipping, I am gonna get a Flex-7 from him, i only have to pay minumal price.
JDoGG
08-01-2001, 03:39 PM
how much is minimal? i know some sites have the flex 7 ize's in ugly colors for 30$.
KoRnMaN
08-01-2001, 05:26 PM
like blue and pink.
SmartDyeSpyder
08-02-2001, 09:38 AM
It is Olive w/ the black rubber, not a stupid color, like pink! I would have to pay like http://www.paintballgear.com has, $40 but i don't have to pay shipping b/c he will order it when he gets paint or other equipment.
JDoGG
08-02-2001, 10:41 AM
thats a good deal. i wish i could get free shipping. and the 30$ ize masks come in purple red and brown. blah

Well I live near an I&I store so i just buy their house paint...$40/2k....but if i play in a tourney i buy All Star or Marbs or something...i know that prices are less on the net..but remeber that if the site is located on the other side of the country odds are that something will break..
Buy from internet for practice paint...but other wise go with store...
AllOleander
08-03-2001, 03:30 PM
You have to compare prices. My proshop sells RPS for 85 dollars! No way am i gonna pay that much, so i order online.
Tip: Find an online store that is close to you, so shipping prices won't be as bad and it is more likely paint wont break in the mail!
