whats a 2 piece barrel do for your gun?

Nothing its just a barrel that is 2 piece that attaches to each other and you can use the front part of the barrel for speedball or something because its shorter.

Stepped bores. 2-piece barrels usually have a back piece with a smaller bore, like .684 to .690, while the front piece has a larger bore, like .700. I think it's supposed to reduce ball breakage because there's less friction, as well as reduce noise due to more porting. Not sure if there are any other differences, though.
