Wrong forum. Those aren't true electro-pneumatics. Post this in the hybrid blowback section.
I'd say it's a toss-up.

No big deal, just get it out there... I have owned a ton of spyders, and they kick!! Every JT I have been around has been a pile of .... yeah anyway. Dont forget the Black Draguns. It may not have the burst modes.. but they aren't legal anyway... The Dragun is the king of trigger pulls in the hybrid arena, and can we say 20bps... Whoa:drop: :drop:

JT, no questions asked. Just make sure you don't get a defective one.

I would say forget the spyder and take a look at the JT 5.0 or a Black Dragon. I like my JT, some people say that it is to heavy, but I like the feel and looks of it. If you want a super smooth trigger go for the Black Dragon, I don't care for the BD though, I think that it is to light.
P.S. If you do go with the JT, it may have a few bugs to work out. Nothing major, but you should know before you get one and start to say that it is no good.

I wouldnt go with a JT. I know a guy who sold his 5.0 for a 3.5 And the local shop says they wont carry them b/c they are tired of fixing them. But Black Draguns are nice and cheap. and everone sells spyder parts just about

2 of my teammates had JT's they had way too much down time, they both know how to maintain a marker. they were well cared for, but left much to be desired. I am not saying that some people will have good experiences with their JT's. but I have shot them, put up with them on my team and defended teammates trying to get their markers back up during a game. I am not talking from what I have HEARD, but what I have had to deal with.... They have both ditched the JT's one went to a cocker, and the other to an Imagine. And all is good in the world. I apologize if you do not like what I have said, but that is how it was. I have been a spyder guy for years, and recently moved over to the Draguns. I have an LCD that is out right evil on the field. I can depend on it, but I do put my time in maintaining it. That is usually the key in keeping a marker in top running condition. So many bad reviews on markers are done by people who go out and play a rough game, then throw their marker into the closet not to see the light of day till two weeks later for the next game. Many do not know what sort of oil is to be used on a marker... and of course their "new" marker takes a dump. What do you expect from unmaintained equipment??? I am giving my opinion based on an environment of a knowledgeable and real environment. I would say on the average you will have much better luck with the Black Dragun or the Spyder. I have nothing against JT, I love their goggles, but in my opinion they should stick to what they are good at...

Yeah, when JT 5.0's and 6.0's first came out they were defective, but they have fixed the problems in their newer ones. Mine works great.

I'd say go w/the Electra. From my experience I can tell ya that it's very reliable and like most spyders, easy to maintain. It looks and preforms well and I've had no problems with it.

The JT's and Spyders are pretty evenly matched. Both Spyders and JT's have their fair share of defects and both are solid markers. I own a JT 4.0 and it was a ***** before everything got straightened out. Now I love it and it works great. I guess it all depends on luck, whether you get a good marker or defunct one. It's all chance.

Spyder all the way, JTs suck. I own a Victor and a 5.0, choose a spyder.

i got a Jt 3.5 and it has never failed me and it has taken a huge beating. I love this gun and the stock barrel is really good on it. My friend has the 5.0 and ive used it a couple of times to tell you the truth this gun is insane its no angel but for the money its worth it trigger is nuts on this thing but anyways a lot of my friend have spyders and there also good. I still prefer jt, since you get more **** with it out of the box, likes gauges and drop forwards, but since these guns are so evenly matched might as well jsut buy it for looks.

Dude, get a JT!
Look at my signature.
I have a pretty tricked out JT!
Obviously, a JT is compatible with good parts and upgrades!

I like JT guns, the NON-ELECTRIC ONES. I have a 4.0, but I heard some bad things aboout the 5.0's and 6.0's, I'd say go with the electra. It comes a little nicer looking, a cool barrel, and it just seems nicer.
