i'm thinking of switching to a lapco 7.5" barrel for my a5 - anyone ever used this setup (or barrel)... the pbreview is pretty short (only 3 responses) so i'm looking for more input on range/accuracy... THANKS!

well i've used it on my 98 if it counts.....

its short and pretty accurate... i didnt really see a diff between the 12 inch bigshot. the only thing is that it is pretty loud cause there isnt much length/porting to quiet it.

I liked it for speedball.

yeah supposedly barrel length shouldn't have anything to do with distance or accuracy - just sound. i'm going to be using it primarily for woods play but i like the idea of having something more manueverable (shorter) since we do a lot of crawling around in the dirt

yeah sorry - i put it here primarily because i wanted feedback from somone with a tippmann not just anyone who's used this barrel... i think i'll move the conversation over there though. thanks.

I own an A5 with a 7.5 inch bigshot. I couldent love it more. It does just as good as my friends boomy. The only thing is if u play alot in temperatures lower then 35 deg it is a dissapointment. But other than that its performance is unsurpased. This is a great barrel
