High or Low end markers?

Fisrt off I don't want to start a slaging match on-which
marker is best. so I will not mention any brand names.

For argument sake:-
if you ignore build quality / gas efficency /how good it looks etc
we are left with rate of fire and accuracy.

with a good barrel and paint match can accuracy be similar?
between high and low end guns

ROF/BPS if you don't take out the target with the frst 1-3 ball they will of moved! so why do you need the next 8+ ball in the air for?

low end guns have really bad consistancy. if you take a spyder and a cocker with the same barrel and paint the spyder will more likely over shoot and under shoot your target at long range while the cocker will be ball on ball. much more accurate

i'm talking about stock guns too. not a $2000 super still low end spyder

How do you define long range?
here in the UK its mostly forest with heavy undergrowth.
max range normaly 40yards is this long?
normal targets are 20yrds away.

the reason for the post is do you buy a $600+ marker
just to make 1-2 long range hits a game?

a high end gun.
doesn't have any blowback for less chops.
lower pressure for less chops.
more consistant
more reliable
you can use much better paint because of low pressure
and comes with a good stock barrel

for accuracy you need a good barrel/paint and good consistancy. I think long range is around 40-50 yards. where brittle balls break and marbs bounce.

Ok now were getting somewere

so a reg and going to lp improves consistency but how do you maintain velocity at some point if must me a trade off?

is it because high end guns are more efficent in presenting the gas to the ball they can run at much lower pressures while still maintaining velocity.

Last you dont mention fof/bps is this not realy a fator compaired to consitency.
