No o-rings=no seal=less consistancy. It doesnt make that big a differenence but its still a factor. I gave up my alien to a superfly, and my superfly to a lightning. That was on a cocker though and it might might be different on spyders.

What does a 12v Revvy do?

it has 4 blades inside of the hopper that spin around everytime a ball is not breakin the infared beam(or whatever it is) so it will help feed balls faster.

Ive heard them before and there pretty quiet when theres alot of paint in it. Even when theres not it runs fairly quietly. I say the only prob is the cost. I use a calamping elbow and i cant recall ever haveing any problems with the ball feed

Shizocka basically said it. Its a motorized hopper that keeps balls from getting clogged up at the top of the feed tube and not feeding into the gun. They arent really loud. They come in two versions and several colors. One is a 9 volt, which aside from just using one 9v battery, has a smaller paddle. The other is a 12 volt, which uses two 9v batteries and has a larger paddle. There were also other motorized hoppers before revvys, but they arent made anymore. A 9v will run about $35-45. A 12v will run about $50-60. If you get one, I would get the 12v. It feeds faster than a 9v, and doesnt cost that much more.

I really don't see any need for one since I don't play at a competitive level and on a field in the woods in my friends back yard. Also I don't really shoot that much and it really wouldn't be worth my money right now. Oh well :D
