If for the same price you could buy 1 2000 case of marb's or 2 2000 cases of some brand that has no name just says paintballs on the box, would you buy the nameless brand?

I would probably not buy namless but I would probably (depending on my money situation) buy whatever was 1.5 of 2000 for the price of 1 2000 marbs if that makes sense.

Let me see.........
1)I can buy no name paint at $39/2000 that takes ten shots per target because it breaks in my barrel and is inaccurate because of dimples OORRR... I can buy PMI at $50/2000 that hits my target in three shots because it's round and only breaks on target.
2)I can buy no name paint at $39/2000 in the winter that turns to snot in my barrel because the shells were too brittle and my opponent lights me up while laughing his head off. I could buy arctic inferno or polar ice at $20/500 and just be slightly more judicious with my shots and save some targets for my teammates:rolleyes:

Cheap paint is crap, if you actually want to play, and expect to win, use something halfway decent.

That is why I buy meduim grade paint to get the best of both world for Recreation play :D

I wouldn't buy crap balls, but I would pay 40 bucks for diablo midnights instead of paying 80 bucks for some expensive balls

Don't get the cheap paint. RPS premiums are good and cheap.

But that is still a lot better than zap and brass eagle a lot better.

Why waste your time with cheap paint that's inaccurate and causes barrel breaks. Haven't you spared no expense to get that marker to perform to it's utmost capacity, using cheap paint defeats the purpose of all your upgrades.....A I UP

theres a local shop that sells $40/case paint.

I've never had a barrel break with it (chop a couple times before I got the ricochet, but not any more)
It shoots straight, I've never seen a dimple on it.

I bought it one day just to see how the $40 a case stuff compared and haven't bought much else since.

Sometimes you get lucky and find decent quality paint for cheap.

I would see if you could just buy a bag or two to try it out.

my local store sells kick'n summer paint for $40 a case and its actually pretty good, thin shell(not winter paint for sure) and flys as good as PMI preiums in my experince.

The year before though they sold JT elite for $40 a case and the stuff was junk. If it was colder than about 60* out it you would experince a fair amount of barrel breaks if it was colder than 50* out people were lucky to get 1 out of 10 balls out of the barrel in one peice, no matter what marker or barrel you were using.

You might get lucky and the no name paint could be something that your shops got a good deal on and is actually decent quality paint that they just got in white boxes(some of the stores kick'n comes in unmarked boxes).

I was out today shooting my A-5 w/flatline using swirl and it was almost fifty degrees.....every five shot resulted in barrel breaks.....pain in the *** and was not shooting at high bps.....definately reavaluating flatline as a no cold weather barrel even though fifty to me felt warm.......A I UP

if you're playing with friends or recball on more open fields then maybe you should consider diablo seconds (recball paint)

i've tried them and haven't had any problems with them, they're just as good as the midnights

Buy 'em in bulk from my field proshop. Usually 20 cases for the team drops them down to $45 a case. 20 cases lasts us a month or so.
