12 is better for speedball. 14 is better for woods b/c its quieter.

Well everyone seems to think that 12" is better, but I mainly play woods ball, so I might get the 14".

How much quiter is the 14" to the 12" and is there any performance difference?

not much quieter but it allows you to aim down the barrel better.

I don't really aim down the barrel anyway. it takes too much time, I find it better to just shoot a few rounds to aim.
