250ft x 90ft is a realy good size
200ft x 75ft should do good

The bigger the better. Personally, I love big fields. Mainly because then you can play with a ton of people which is the way to go. I've played on a woods field and we play 7 vs 8.
Like I said, the bigger the better.
As for bunkers, make a few big ones in the back, but closer in to middle of the field, make them lower, and harder to hide behind. Or make a few taller ones on the side so people can cover fire.

football field might be a little too big (lenth wise)
the width would be good, but maybe 80 or 90 yards long, just a little shorter.
football field would be quite awesome except i'd like to see it that width and about 300 yards long. that way off the opening break you just keep running straight ahead until somebody in the group your running with gets lit up then you take cover and start fighting! it's like that poor sap in all the vietnam war movies that ALWAYS gets shot first in the ambush. There's always at least one or two guys that just never see it coming. :(

what about setup, rules,etc.
for a 300 yard long football field you would need LOTS of 7 foot tall box bunkers EVERYWHERE so it's like a huge maze where you can turn the next corner and get sprayed. you would also need two 15 man teams to play on this wonderful field

sorry to inform u dude, but a football filed is only 100 yards long (excluding endzones), not 300, but i'm not sure about width.
i know. i am refering to the new football field that i will be making. i only called it a football field so you would know what width to have it then have it 300 yards long and do all the other stuff i have said and it will be grrrrrreat!

you could fit 2-3 paintball fields on a foot ball field. The size of the field depends on how many people you expect to play on it.
If you got 100 maybe a foot ball field might be the size you are looking for
But if you have 4, many 40' x 100' might be enough
we will also have to build underground tunnels for surprise then have 100 people play on it like ii said. It'll be great (in scottish accent)

what about bunkers? how high and wide should they be? should the be flat, or V-Shaped? and what should spacing be?

There are no rules for making a field. It is however you want to make it. You can have tires, boards, a car, wall, house anything as a bunker. A bunker is something you use for cover. Use whatever you have laying around.
The more bunkers you have the more it will look like trenches, the less you have... well you'll have no cover...

actually, u just gave me an idea, what about digging trenches? would that work?
dig tunnels and trenches and put plastic tubing through them. i went to a field that did that to one of their woods fields one time and it was awesome, that was probably the funnest game of paintball i have ever played.
