a sugestion about the mod problem

well i know you are goin to get some more mods and i want to suggest something i think that you should do a test, atest about how much they know because mods should know what they are talkin about first find th people that are on the site regularly at least 2 hours a day and email them all a test and have them send it back and then if to many of the people get it all right have them tell you why they want t be a mod i know this will take a while but i think people will wait while you get good mods to me its worth the wait just a suggestion as i said befor

huh? i think mods should know somewhat what they are talking about but mods arent just around for giving info they are there for keeping things clean and making sure peeps dont spam or flame! yes they can give info but so do other members like me and others who say what they know!

well yes but in my mind the mods the people with the great power should also be the smartest bout the stuff so they dont give the wrong info i dont think that thier should be mods that dont know thier sh!t

Do mods really need to be the ones giving all the information, tips and stuff? As long as they do their jobs, keeping spam off threads, deleting and moving threads..I'm convinced that mod is good. There's over 2500 members, they're the one's who should be helping eachother. But yes, I do see what you're getting at. I wouldn't want some guy who's only used one gun his whole life modding the electros forum.

yeah but i still think they should know thier stuff we do help each othe rbut i think when a mod posts something it kinda overpowers the other ones like i posted something and a mod posted something i think my opinion would be overpowered but maybe thats just me

I think that he ods shoud definety knwo what they are talking about. I mean, the mod is there to clean up the forum and protect against spam, but say there is a thread going on that is providing toatlly wrong information, the mod should have a general knowledge on the subject and be able to give his opinion. The mods opinions seem to be taken over other peoples, so they need to have a good diea about what they are talking about, not just be on the sight day in and out to clean up spam.

I think the idea of testin the new mods is a great idea. I dont want someone moding the forums i post in if there gonan be pricks and are just people with high post counts or something. I think an even better idea would be to have andrew post a poll with condiates for mods, and have people post there opinons on the different people, and why or why not they should be a mod. I know the mods are talking about who would make good candites themselves, but ersonally i wouldnt mnd having a say in who would make the best mods for this site. I think everyone should have a say on who would make the best mods, i mean were the people whou have to deal with them the most:)

I don't think people should vote. We have many smart people. But also a lot of real morons. No offense to Incube but lots of people think him funny and stuff so he would get lots of votes, mabye. This is a dictaorship (is that right) what andrew says goes..... BUt if andrew chose who to vote for then mabye.

I don't think we need to worry about the mods being smart. Andrew aint no idiot. It's like before Muck became a mod and how both he and incube had the vote for mod in 2001. You could kinda tell Muck was gona be a mod and not Incube

Well Andrew will pick who he wants or ask people who want too be a mod,myself I feel he's been good at picking the right mods,well one he's gone but me I don't care one way or the other.
