Is it normal for a slight bit of air to blow out the back side of the gun? Somewhere near the bolt it seems a bit of air is coming out. Nothing big.. still fires paintballs great, but I'm just curious about that.

I've got a M3 2002 Basic.

Depending on how strong of a main spring is in the gun, it is normal. The longer the valve is open, the more air is going to come out the back of the gun. You have a flush cocking system, right?

On high psi setups there is quite a bit of blowback but M3 markers have vents at the bottom of the feedtube to combat this problem. That air is probably coming from the vents.

Yes I have a flush cocking system. It seems to come out right where the cocker is.. thanks for the replies!
