there isn't really a "tournament level" marker, because you can use anything in a tourney. but I wouldn't use a rebel in a tourney, I wouldn't use a rebel at all for fear of falling apart while shooting it.

a rebal in a tourny??? i wouldn't use it. "tourny leval" markers are usuially not blowbacks so it will have to be at least $300.

if your planing to get a rebel i think you should go for the spyder it looks better its not made by 32 degrees and its not a clone

I would recommend a pirahna. PMI is a great company and the pirahna performs really well with a few basic upgrades.
Get a Custom Products barrel, 12v revolution hopper, and a drop forward for the thing and you are set.

Please tell me you have not bought it yet. Please!! I have the Rebel LE which broke a connect pin. It took 3 weeks after constant calling and a threatening letter to make 32° send me a new part (the gun was still under warrenty). I have heard of a lot of other crap that has gone wrong with the rebel line. I just don't trust the 32° marker line too much right now.

At any skill level though, your marker must be able to shoot. :)

Just played yestarday, and one friend with a Rebel, always shoots it as fast as he can. Well, it came apart on him while shooting, no joking. The handle part came off the frame and it leaked a **** load of air, he put it back together and it worked fine after that.
Doesn't help that he has a 20oz tank on a bottomline setup.
BTW, anyone have problems with rebels and some tanks? I can't get mine to fit some, my brother has bottomline on his rebel and it fits all tanks

yeah you should save for a mag or cocker. or if you dont wanna wait, look into m98's by tippmann. very nice guns. may not be tourney level but good enough for local tournies.
