uh, how bout save up another 10 and buy a smart parts AA or bigshot or ceramic or CP one piece. i would personally choose the AA or da bigshot.da aa i believe is small bore, and the bigshot is medium.

boomsticks are way over rated, if u have the money its ok but dont save up and scarpe to get on its not worth it. or how about instead of upgrading your gun you play and upgrade your skills. if u get a barrel try to find a big shot i have one on my shutter and it is the best barrel i have ever seen, i can lay shots on top eachother with it. my dad has the CP and my big shot blows it away. i have also tried dye barrels they were in between the CP and lapco but no barrel i have found is as consistent and accurate as lapco

Paintballads, Im just beginning, gonna play for my first time soon, im just looking for the best deal I can get on the Compact 2 in 1 and how I can upgrade it.
And yes the 2 in 1 has a bottomline and is anodized. It is alot cheaper then getting a Java compact with a bottomline, about 20 less!

save that money and get a new gun. a compact isn't worth upgrading!

why would you sell your spyder to get another spyder??? an upgraded compact is better than a stock xtra. aftermarket parts are going to be better quality than anything kingman produces

I want to be able to have a nice marker that isnt the worst and lowest end, but can be upgraded to be the better marker the compact is quite low end and it seems like if I buy a regulator, expansion chamber, and barrel for it. It would end up costing me much more then the Xtra

if u bought that stuff the compact it would out perform the kingman stock stuff, most people upgrade that anyway. i wish that i had bought a compact and got a chance to upgrade it myself, but my dad wanted us to get shutters. i would take advantage of your situation and make it your own personal custom marker.
if you really want a new gun dont buy another spyder, there is no point to it. find a used mag or cocker, i have seen people selling descent used mags and cockers for as low as $225

You should ALWAYS have the barrel as you 1st priority, it ad accuracy and makes it quiet. That should be everyones first upgrade. with the reg, you get accuracy (a little more cause of increased consistancy) and you get more shots per tank, but a barrel will make it WAY more accurate. regulator and a barrel would be an awesome combination, but barrel 1st

Custom Products! Custom Products! $39.95 for one and they shoot like they are about $100. Take it from me, many guys at my field with angels and spyders have one of these barrels and LOVE it. Super accurate. Oh yeah, and don't make the mistake of getting a 16 inch, 14 inches is the longest you should go. Although I would recommend 12 inches.

Once again I dont think Im going to be getting a Compact, I think im going to get an Xtra which is talked up to be better and more classy then a Shutter and only 70 dollars more then the completely downgraded compact, good deal! I was getting a 2 in 1 java red with goggles/mask, co2, tru-flight barrel, and vl200 rnd hopper for 175.55, and I just found out that I could get the Xtra with mask/goggles, co2, barrel plug, oil, 200 rnd fliplid, and squeegee system for 200.95! better deal right!!

you are stupid, no offense, but you asked us a question, and won't take our advice. get the compact, not xtra, all spyders are the same, just with crappy stuff put on them. EX: the xtra comes with a drop forward, but a bad one, you would need to replace it anyway. it comes with an "expansion chamber" but it is 2 chambers! you would need to replace it anyway. it comes with a better barrel. my *** it does, it just comes with a different stock barrel. that will need to be replace anyway. so go with the compact, or the xtra if you want to waste money.

You left something out. The Xtra has microline. This is very bad to have when running CO2. When I was playing yesterday, two guys' macrolines burst because they were using CO2. Make sure that you use a steal braided hose.
you retard the only difference between spyders is the tiny little upgrades that seperate them...and get a cheap walmart gun then save and get a cocker or a mag k!!!!

First of all why would I listen to someone who calls me a retard and tells me that I am making the worst decision possible, second of all, the package that I was getting on the compact was only 15 less then the package Im getting on the Xtra the only difference was that it came with a ****ty fourteen inch tru-flight barrel instead of the stock barrel, Third of all, I can fix the microline for 10 dollars, the compact doesnt even come with a crappy microline, that would be about 50 to put one on because I would have to put on a 50 dollar expansion chamber, a 20 dollar bottomline, a new trigger job, because I have heard that the xtra's trigger is better then the compacts now tell me if im wrong, I would have to put on a veloscity adjuster hmm, 40-50 bucks say, and not leaving out the verticle feed, rear cocking bolt, drop forward, and beaver tail, all for 15 dollars more!.. I have read a professional review on the marker and it says that right out of the box its accuracy is not the best but not as bad as alot of the other stock barrels, I even saw the accuracy chart and if you want to go and look at it for your self go here!
http://www.paintballgunreview.com/spyderxtra.html
One more thing, im sorry to be a pain but its just personal views on the marker, I have read that some microlines broke, but I have also read from some other reliable smart people that there microlines havent broke, and one last thing, its not in one of those $hitty colors like black or silver, the kind you get with the compact, or the anodized red, or blue, its in a candy green which actually blends in with your surroundings, so next time you decide to B'itch at the Newbie pick a different newbie who doesnt enjoy defending himself! Now dont think of me as one of those rich pansy-@ss kids with the angels who say they can beat you and your whole team, yea I am sure you could completely wipe me out in a game, but to call me a retard right off the bat is just idiotic! thanks for your time, and have a nice day!

Hey.. its allright, it just really pissed me off to be called a retard for doing my math!.. sorry to snap on you I just wanted to get the truth out that the Xtra isnt a half bad marker with the same package as the compact! and Damn am I getting a good deal on it!
