The best gun for a back player?

I am going to play on a team soon and they have selected me to be a back player because the rest of the team have been playing longer and they are a lot faster. I dont really have a budget on how much i can spend(captain is paying for everything).

No, I would say excalibur is better than an f-5, the excal is everything an f-5 is but way more reliable.

The excal is 180 psi, very effecient, very consistent, nice trigger, low kick. Very nice gun.

go with a mag, heard they are nice, or you can just get a cheap *** talon! heheh, act like you dont know anything and try to get him to feel sorry for you so he gets you an angel! best way to get what you want is phsyciological warfare!!

any marker can play back - like any marker can play front... its all personal preference. i see people play angels in the back and in the front, or the same way with autocockers.

yea, exactly, seems cockers are more widely used for back playing though... I think you oughtta get an angel, if your not payin for it.

dark cockers are worth crap... its a fancy, overpriced sto... with an okay infinity barrel... black magics are about the same, and $2-300 cheaper.

i play front and personally if i played back i would get a shocker 4x4 and put a new board in it a giant nitro and a revy with the 18v board

I talked directly to the captain for the first time today. His name is Ishad(he is half israley(spelling), and half white. He told me he is paying for balls,nitro tank,JT flex ize,Jerseys,harness,pods,gloves, and a gun. He also told me if i want a back up gun he could get one for half price. So i guess we are already sponsored!

Personally I would go with a Cocker, but thats just my opinion. Accuracy is just too good.

Get an excalibur, warp feed, 68/45 conquest, extreme rage 5 pack, and about 10 planet 140 rd tubes, and a 12" freak system with ss back :)

He wants to be a back player though. And you need somethig that can put out a lot of paint and be accurate at a long distance. And for that I agree with Spray. Get a shocker 4x4. They don't break paint (unless its crappy paint, but in that case it breaks in the barrel, not the internals).

The downside is that they tend to be heavy. So if yer a puny little nothing of a person. Get something else. HAHAHAHA j/k

But no, my buddy has a shocker turbo. He can empty his hopper in 10 seconds or less, and thats putting paint on paint at 20-30 feet. He has a 16 inch all american and a 14 inch boomstick. He can long ball liek nobody's buisness too.

If your friend can empty a full hopper in 10 seconds or less using a shocker, I'd give him my timmy, because that's just not possible with a shocker. As for playing back, I'd just get whatever gun, and get a full stainless freak (back and front). It adds alot of weight to the barrel and really helps reduce kick

Angels dont have the highest ROF, alot of electros have aftermarket boards that will let them cycle in the low 30 bps

yeah if you put a new board and upgrade i just figured we were yalkin stock but i still dont think the angle is worth the money i would much rather have a timmy or bushy i think ide rahter have the bushy just because the size difference but back to the subject read my first reply i think that is the best gun for back twitch what board would be best for it though i didnt know

You doubt me Twitch? Its c4pyro who has it, and I kid you not. I may be exaggerating slightly, but it might be a bit more like 20 seconds. His turbo is way faster then our full-auto. Its even faster then our turbo. He finds the sweet spot on his trigger and he doesn't have to do anything else.

Yeah 20 seconds sounds reasonable, in fact I can do slightly less than that in semi, so can a couple of people I know shooting all sorts of guns. Under 10 is unreasonable though, since the fastest aftermarket board I've ever seen for the shocker gives you 13 bps, and to empty a hopper in under 10 seconds you wuld have to be firing at over 20 bps. Anyhow....
