Hey I've heard some rumors that using full auto with the flatline causes problems like ball breakage. Is that true?

I use a tippmann m98 custom with a response trigger, nitro, 12V revy with x board, and maybe a flatline:|
I play mostly woods ball and do u think I should get the flatline or get a dye boomstick?

Thanks

It'll cause breakage with any barrel if you don't have a revvy. I'd get a boombstick if I were you, I've used a lot of my friend's flatlines and while the distance is a little better the accuracy is ****.

Get the boomstick!

i have a flatline and i hit alot of people with it. i shoot really fast too and i have never had a problem with paint breakage, unless im using crap paint (one time i did, it was horrible) , it never breaks a ball (evil or marbalizer). the flatline might curve it once in a while, but if its on 100% perfect, it does wonders.

I don't understand how people could think that full auto in a flatline could cause ball breakage? There is no logic behind it AT ALL. The balls are going to go through the barrel the same wheter or not there is a another ball behind it? Maybe Im missing something, but the claim seems to have no evidence behind it and doesn't really make a whole lot of sense if you think about it?

I overheard a paintball store owner talk about using a flatline and RT on the 98c and he said it was awesome. This coming from a guy who knows his s#@t about working on all types of paintball guns. Only two things you need to do is make sure you install the flatline correctly and use small bore premium paint - don't use the cheap stuff.

I personally have never seen it but the thought of hurling 10 bps at 200+ feet sounds like an awesome surpressing weapon. You could hold down an entire team at that range without worring about their shots.

i've done that before, the whole team was on a hill and i shot them all down from a spool, it took a hopper but i did it  :)
