you should get macro because you can adjust it and ss you need a new hose and macro is high flow too

I was opposed to macro because of the rumors about it bursting and leaking and to be honest I just recently started using macro and it is some wicked stuff it's simply to disconnect (no tools required) it's tuffer than you would assume.Besides the fitting are not cheap compared to steel line fitting they are a steep 7.50 a piece at my local shop but hey the line itself is only 2.30 but is difficult to find in more than 1 foot lengths.

if the run is going to be straight and not curved get steel because macro line comes with a nutral curve to it and if it's a straight shot from one place to the next the macro line has a tendency to bow.

Macro. Perfect for lp setup.

I would use SS. Has much better flow that macro. You can buy swivel ends for SS, which makes it easier to handle. Macro will probably work alright, but I would still use SS.

Either way, dont get microline. You will most likely have flow problems with micro.

I have a SS setup for my Stingray 2. I figured that the macro looked a lot more delicate and it break and I would have a S***load of leaks on my hands. The SS just seemed more heavy duty than the macro and I have no complaints.

Macro is very sturdy and has no leaks. It will leak as much as ss hose.

i got a macro on my cocker, works fine, no leaks. but for a spyder or a tippmann like gun i would go for ss.

macrolines arent brittle.

Still, even if it doesn't leak that easy it still looked more fragile for me and that would make me more cautios when I play and I don't want that. I'm just sayin that I like the SS hose better I'm not actually SAYIN that the SS is better...it's just my opinion.

MAcor has higher flow, easier to install, can be adjusted, cheaper, and more durible.

Actually CF, stainless has a higher flow and is more durable. Macro is easier to install and maintain though. Stainless is rated at 3k-5k depending on the manufacturer whereas macro is rated at 1800 max.
One thing to be careful about is leaving your gun in the sun. UV breaks down macro line and will cause it to weaken and burst. The colored macro from 32 degrees is very bad and I don't recommend using it. The black stuff is pretty good and I use it on some of my guns.
Just be a little more careful with macro and it should work well for you.

What fittings? Doesnt it just go into normal SS elbows and stuff?

Know you need macro line fitting to use. SS is screwed into the fittings wereas macro line uses retention fittings.
