I have a Piranah STS G3, I'm thinking a 12oz. but I think I might need more, although I don't wanna throw off the blance of my gun...That's a big thing for me. How would a 16oz. or 20 oz. feel (full, of course).

Thanks!

get a 16 oz then a bottomline, and a drop forward, increases the gas flow and balances the marker out! the gun im purchasing has them both!

sts already has a bottomline

16oz and 20oz will weigh 4 oz and 8 oz heavier (right?) :)

I think you'll be fine with either, I think its best to have a 20 oz, cuz you can easily play for a day, and then have some left over for messing with your gun in the back yard.

weight shouldn't be much of an issue unless your super weak.

Drops are a nice idea, but if you like the feel of your gun already, dont need one.

It all depends on how much you shoot, and how long you play. I only have a 12 oz because I don't shoot that much, and 12 is all I need, plus I like the feel of the 12 oz over the 20. I've never used a 16 oz though.

also, it might be a good idea to buy a spare 9 oz just for in case you break an o ring and lose a lot of co2 or something. Or if you just use more gas then you though you would.

i use a 20 oz on my shutter and i think its the perfect size. . . i like having more weight in the back of my marker so i can point with the front easier. it tucks right in to my shoulder perfectly. . .

They would also weigh several MORE ounces heavier. A 20 oz tanks HOLDS 4 more ounces of C02 than a 16 Oz. You also need to take into account the extra metal in making a bigger tank.

i have found for some that the 16 stubbys weigh less then the 12 so again i suggest that the extra wieght for the 20 aint worth the balance of my gun to me

go with a 16 oz stubby definitely. it will make you so compact and will give you enough shots to play back if you want

it would be the best just because it "lasts hella long"? i really think it depends on how much he shoots and where he plays.

Borrow a tank from a friend and see how much you shoot in a day. I have several tanks but now I only use the 9, and the 7. the better you ge, the less you need to shoot and lately I haave benn able to go the whole day without changeing a tank. I get about 400 shots with my mag before it begins to run dry. If thats all you shoot, go with the smaller tanks. If you shoot more than that, go with the 16 oz. stubby wich will keep your gun compact and easy to manuver. The weight of your gun, you will get used to, but a bulky gun can be a pain in the/\ss
