It seems that paintball markers are under review because of that incident invloving those guys and the Tippmann SL-68II. Some misinformed people are trying to see to it that paintball markers require permits to own...just like handguns. That would pretty much eliminate paintball itself, considering a lot of people that play are 14-20 years old. And I'm pretty sure you couldn't get one of these permits until you are 21. Well, anyways, support the NRA because they are supporting paintball and fighting the never ending battle of ignorance.

Are you gonna pass out pamphlets now?
nope, my 20 year old brother got a shotgun when he was 17, permit and everything. it'd just be a hassle to have to go get a permit.

I am an NRA member, and while I'm not suggesting that all paintballers rush out and join up to protect your rights, I do think you should be aware, active and vocal about legislation concerning paintball. The Anti-Gunners out there tend to be a hysterical uninformed lot who are willing to pass new laws without putting a lot of thought into it. I shudder at the thought of what would happen if they came out in force after painball.

Cool. I thought you had to be 21....well that clears up that for me.

Here in TN, you MUST be 21 to purchase and/or register a firearm.
