Today was looking so good; nice 80° weather; gun just was fixed. So I got to my local field (pev's if any of you go there), and because of traffic I arrive just intime for lunch. Now I have to wait around for 30 min. :( Ohwell I thought, no biggy. I get my gear together and crono my gun. I'm shotting with an average of 275, just where it should be.
The first game I play was a 10 v 10 speedball game. I get into a nice position behind a small bunker. I take a couple shots and what happens a break a ball. Right as I sit down to clean it, and newbie joins me in my already small bunker. Basically no room for moving. I clean my gun as best as I can, but my accuracy went to hell. My balls were doing loop-de-loops in the air. About a minute after cleaning my gun I get shot.
In the second game, again 10 v 10 speedball, I take five shots and my gun chops and jams big time. I think I broke two balls in the process and jamed a third in there. Gross. As I was calling myself out, and stepping out of one of the bunkers, my gun gets sprayed. So now, I have all sorts of * everywhere in my gun. It took 15 minutes to clean the gun.
The third game was in the woods. I grab a nice bunker near the left tape line near the middle line of the field. I take a couple shots and my gun can recock itself. I figure it will go away. Then all of a sudden my gun can't catch the sear and does a horrible chop. The chop is so good that I couldn't even recock the gun by hand. Once out in the parking lot, I had to use my squeegee (has a wooden dowel in it) to push the bolt out of the firing chamber. Yes! more cleaning to do. While cleaning the gun, I noticed that some how, the trigger frame had come very loose. How I have no clue. At this point I decided to call it a day, with only 5 minutes of actual play. I think it is time to retire my POS Rebel LE.
