Tank Threading

Got a new 32 Degrees Rebel gun, its a vertical setup, but the tank that came with it ( a 32 degrees tank), wont even fit in the threading. I have a 12 oz tank that fits, but have tried 4 other tanks, that wont go in far enought.
Are there differnet types of threading, or is it just because its a new gun and theres paint on the threading? I dont know what to do, should I get a bottomline setup for it?

i have the bottomline setup on mine and it works fine w/ the threads on the bottomline
