yeah its okay just make sure its dry.. you can dry fire to get the water out or just let it evaporate. i do it all the time. usually after a day of paintball so i can get it clean. you can also squeegee it too

Make sure that only ur barrel gets wet, not ur gun, take it off ur gun and clean it. Make sure u let it air dry, i do this just so i dont' scratch anything when i am drying it.

It also depends on what marker. You can pretty much dunk a spyder into a bucket of water. But dont try that with an angel...

Water will not harm the marker, barrel, etc. Just watch out for places that water will get stuck, pneumatics on an A/C, board on an electo marker, etc.

I always run my barrel through water after I am done wth it.

Yeah, so do i, even if i don't get a break, which i rarely get. Angels do not mix w/ water too well, ZAP!

Yes, it's ok to put your barrel in the water, however, do not put it in hot water, or very cold water. One of my friends' friend did that to his Xcel barrel, and now PMI Premiums roll out so easily. :)

Yeah, I have a Tippmann 98 Custom, and I usually just take a tissue, dampen the corner of it and LIGHTLY clean the dirt off of it, and on the inside I just clean off the old oil with Tissue and put the new oil on. Also, I clean my barrel by Squeeging it 3 to 4 times, than take damp Toilet Paper and Run it back and forth through it. (I know, I act Ghetto) I would suggest you dont use anything like Paper Towels though, it might scratch it.

When my cocker gets really badly covered with paint I just run it under the bathroom sink a few times along with a sponge to remove the paint. However you mus immediately take it outside and fire off about 20-30 shots so you can get whatever water that got in the gun out. Of course if you leave the bolt closed this isnt a problem. My cocker is very expensive(trust me I bought all the parts individually) and it never breaks down, so as far as I can tell the water is not harming it.

good thing it's ok to get spyders wet. i just washed mine with water and 1/2 way thru doin it i'm like uh oh i remember people say not to get guns wet. i thought it would break it.

...but i still shouldn't get a new mag wet or can i?

oh yeah it's okay to use water on the barrel and if you have a ported barrel and run water through it hardly fasly whatever it comes out the holes and depending in the placment or the holes it can look coolfully

I dont' know anything about the inner workings of a mag, and I probably won't be building one anytime soon. I just know that ari at some point in time is everywhere in an autococker so firing it a couple times clears out the water. I really wouldn't reccomend doing it to a mag tho becuse I believe they have a regulator in the gun and we all know what happens if yoyu get liquid in a reg that isn't made for it. (if you don't just thinkg horrible thoughts)

I've heard that you can put a mag in water and fire it to clean it out (assuming its not electro).
